The Disappearing Cloak is one of four magical "Grail Items" used in the Dark Parables spin-off game Fabled Legends: The Dark Piper. It is a cloak capable of making the wearer disappear entirely and reappear elsewhere.
Appearance and Mechanics Edit
The Disappearing Cloak looks like a normal greyish cloak. There is nothing special or unique about its appearance (it is the second to last object on the left in the picture). It is housed in a stone statue with a plaque that reads, "When I am wrapped around you tight, you will vanish from everyone's sight." As the plaque states, then the Cloak is pulled tightly around the wearer, it activates an enchantment that teleports the wearer to another location. It's unknown exactly how the Cloak works.
The actual history of the four Grail Items is unknown. All four of them existed from at least the time of the ancient city underneath Hamelin and likely have their roots in that city.
At some time in the late 1800s, the Cloak was found by the Dark Piper, who used it for his own nefarious purposes. It was then stolen from him by the Fabled Inspector, who used it to escape the explosion in the Hamelin Clock Tower.
What happened to the Vanishing Cloak after the Clock Tower explosion is unknown.
