The Stranger was a man who appeared in the ruins underneath Hamelin in the Fabled Legends bonus game, The Midas Lair. He was part of a circle descended from Templars who sought the power of the Midas Touch.
Appearance and Personality Edit
The Stranger looked like a dapper gentleman of the late 1800s. He had a black mustache, and wore a fancy suit with a top hat.
He was a greedy, ambitious man who would do anything necessary to satisfy his own greed and desires.
We know almost nothing about the Stranger, including his name. We do know that he was an associate of Duke Alfred's, and allegedly descended from a line of Templars.
Shortly after the events of The Dark Piper, he came to Hamelin to investigate the ruins beneath it and to avenge Duke Alfred's death. Once there, he used the Head of Medusa to petrify the policeman on duty, turned the Duke's body into stone, and attempted to petrify the Fabled Inspector, but failed.
He then sought out the Throne Room of King Midas, where it is said that one can absorb the legendary power of the Midas Touch, enabling them to turn anything they touch into gold. The Stranger began the process of imbuing himself with this magical power, but was stopped by the Inspector. The aborted process ended up turning the Stranger to solid gold.
